Shock absorbers should be fully opened and closed before installation.
The shock absorber must be the appropriate type for the vehicle. (Some shock absorbers may look exactly identical but could have very different functions.)
Care should be taken when handling the piston rod. (Using tools such as pliers or vises will harm the piston rod and result in seal leakage in a short period of time.)
Do not try to modify the shock absorber. (Changes on the mounting joints or weldings on the shock absorber will prevent the shock absorber from functioning normally.)
The right amount of pressure should be applied when screwing the cap screws and bolts.
Cartridge type shock absorbers should be mounted by lubricating the guides.
